The LonGenity Study, based at Albert Einstein College of Medicine seeks a Psychology Assistant (PA) to be responsible for collection and management of study participant data. Data collection will include working as a member of a team with other research assistants to collect clinical data from study participants ages 65 years and older at on-site and home visits. Data include cognitive and physical function measures. Additionally, follow-up data will be collected via mailed, telephone and video-administered questionnaires and tests. The PA will receive standardized training in conducting these measures. Previous phlebotomy experience is highly desirable though willingness to take part in a phlebotomy course to learn these skills is also acceptable.
The home visits require you to have a valid driver's license. Driving usually occurs within a 2 hours distance of New York City. The RA will have the opportunity to participate in specific research projects within the study that are of interest to them and attend research conferences.
